At The Performing Arts Center, we encourage our students to dress for the genre of dance they are studying. Appropriate attire and shoes improve skills, but our dress code also helps unify students by reducing economic and social barriers. Students can purchase these items at Youngstown Dance Supply or on Amazon.

Ballet (All ages)
- Black leotard (tank, long, or short sleeve)
- NO skirts or tutus
- Pink convertible tights
- BLOCH/Capezio pink leather ballet shoes
Contemporary/Jazz
- Fitted/stretchy dance clothing (Ex: shorts, leggings, sports bra, tank)
- BLOCH Eclipse leather jazz shoe (style: 20609) skin tone
Hip Hop
- Comfortable, breathable clothing (Ex: shorts, leggings, sports bra, tank)
- Tennis shoes - These shoes will stay in your bag and are ONLY worn at dance
Tap (Combo 1 - 3)

- Capezio tan Mary Jane tap shoes
Tap (10+)
- Comfortable breathable clothing (Ex: shorts, leggings, sports bra, tank)
